ok so i bought some 18's for my 00 accord ex...the wheels are the universal 8-lug....
my accord is 4 lug...i never even thought to check...but they dont fit...and the dude said they were on his civic...plus i've never seen a universal 8 lug wheel not fit a honda...
maybe i've just been lucky....so am i a dumbass or did they change the pattern a little bit on the somewhat newer models?? im gonna put my money on that im just a dumbass

never bother'd to look...i guess i could start there...i always thought the 8-lug wheels would fit any 4 lug car...i obvisously found out i was wrong

 

the accord should be 4x114.3 and most universal 8 lug wheels are 4x100 * 4x114.3

unless its some oddball 4x108 I think?

 

i dont know...i guess i should've checked it tho...but its a 00 accord ex...would the 4-wheel disc brakes have something to do with it

 

2000 accord takes 4x114.3, 8-lug universal is 4x100
maybe you could find some wheel spacers that would work...but you might want to try and get your money back
