y7 head on z6 block

well i got a z6 that is blown up and i want to use the block and i have a y7 head with a cam and all the good ---- in it......................do you guys think it would be better for a z6 built or a all y7 built its for boost so just let me know...

As long as you don't use your y7 IM, you'll be fine. Get a non-vtec

Still to the z6 block but I'd rock a y7 head. Biggest valves in all the sohc's heads and ---- vtec. Plus y series blocks have that little oilling problem. Just go with what you have.
