intercooler piping
Ok this is my first post on this section of hmt. I was wondering if anyone (accord or prelude guys) have ran with 2" intercooler piping? It probably works better with the 2.5 but I was just wondering. Thanks

it I won't be done till maybe two months. Patience is the key but I don't have any!!
The reason I'm asking about the 2" is becuase there is someone on here selling me some couplers and tbolt clamps for $15 which isnt bad. I haven't started making the piping because I want to make sure it will be ok.
That's what I was thinking. I have seen the piping on a civic and it looked small. I'm probably gonna wait till I get more money and buy me the 2.5. I wanted the 2" because of the price. After all I am an HMT memeber!
it might look weak but who gives a ----, you want boost dont you?? you're only running 6psi, 2" will be fine. whats the price because you can get a few 2 1/2" u bends for about $50 i think, and that would be plenty....you would just have to weld or not, you could just cut and use a lot of couplers
I have 2" piping...but I drive a g1teg (1.6l)
I don’t think the size makes much a difference with low boost. I know that the older Volvos have 2" piping, and I think the DSMs have smaller than that (not sure about that though)
rock the 2" or the 2.25" or the 2.5" it wont change things much...but maybe it will be harder to route the bigger piping. :P
