Hello guys i recently just got another crx and i got it running but i am having some problems with the car. The car will start right up but when accelerated it will fail and sometimes backfire, and when i try to drive it there is only power in first gear in anyother gear it will try to die out. Im thinking that its the timing but i am not sure, its got the stock d16a6 and pm6. Its trhowing code 2,3,5,9 and 10. Any help would be greatly appreciated(and yes i have searched)

 

a pm6 ecu is not going to run that engine. Get the ecu for the engine you have. I'm guessing dx? if so i have a pm5, which is made for dx. Let me know if you want to pick it up.

yeah the motor was converted from dpfi and i dont know if the ecu will work but i have a pm5 i got the car for free so im trying to fix it to use as a dd

oh, then you are confused. rewrite the first post. the SI engine is the D16a6.
