hey there my blow off valve is not working. it should make a loud release of air correct. all i hear is my turbo surging. were do the vacuum lines hook up too.

 

what valve, how many vacum ports, you will need at least one that goes to the intake mani.

 

run a hose into the car and suck on it real hard when you let off the gas








hook the vac line up after the throttle plate.

 

i have a type s blow off valve with two ports were do the vacuum lines go

 

First with the bov disconncted, blow at the top(bigger) nipple and make sue it holds pressure, it it does not then open it up and check the diapham.
vacume line goes to the top (the bigger nipple), leave the bottom one open.
Since your valve is adjustable, back the adjuster all the way out and see it if works (loosen the lock nut, back the adjuster out with a hex key)


I feel like i am re-sloving CDM bov issues

 

also if its the fake greddy.... u kno the on from ebay, there are 2 springs inside of it. open it up and take one of them out.... that is probably the problem.

 

i doubt that`s the cause, even with BOTH spring it`s still pretty soft.
