Default loweing boost on t-25

i have a t-25 with the stock internal wastegate. I was gonna try using a spring against the diaphram but there is a weird bend or a kink in the wategate arm. how could I lower boost?

if its got a bend in it, the previous owner might have bent it to lower the boost already

mbc's can only raise boost, not lower.

you could try attaching a spring to the end of the arm and attaching the other end of the spring somewhere parallel to the arm and put tension on the arm so it doesn't take as much to open it.

the previous onwer was a 37 year old woman who drove a completely stock 97 eclipse gst spyder. I doubt she bent the arm trying to acheive more boost. It was kinked at the factory so the actuator arm doesn't hit the o2 housing.

No it cannot. Think about it. It lowers the pressure in the line to raise the boost. Lowering the pressure will slow the actuator from opening. You would need to raise the pressure to lower boost. How is a MBC going to raise the pressure? Maybe if you hooked an air compressor to it and adjusted it that way? I dunno?
