Default external wastegate issues - FIXED - check new post!

hey ive tried searching on here for answers to external wastegate problems..

mine im having is its not opening- ive tried two springs, one green and one kinda teal colored. vacuum source hooked to the bottom port of the w/g and this is my first ext setup so ---- tit ----! any ideas? ive got that fire ring in place i dont see what i could have done...

the w/g is a ssautoeathotrexsmom...

it appears you answered your own question

what vac/boost source are you tapping into? How's the diagphram look in the wg?

well i tap'd into a vac source off the manifold - along with my blow off valve.. i guess im not sure what jagojon means...i switched springs and everything looked clean and good, the top spins though... is that not normal?? if no1 knows what i mean ill try hard er to explain

the thing circle spins and everything else seems fine.

u know u like that! lol
ya the top half spins freely when not bolted to the pipe and when bolt it turns but lil a tad force doesnt seem to be hurting anything but wud do i do! damnit

take it apart, thats the only way to see whats really going on in there. check to see why the housing spins, it should be tightened to the inlet housing.
