I had to make some brackets yesterday to put these old Subaru seats in my buddy's XR4Ti (aspiring rally beater.) Turned out some decent beads with ye olde Campbell Hausfield fluxcore 80... I got one pic:





EDIT: Got a couple more pics, but they weren't uploading for me earlier... got 'em tonight.





Seems like when I'm pushing the bead away from the edge, I get more of a burn-through on the edge than dragging it toward. D'oh! Either way, I think the brackets will be strong enough.

DAMN! I was about to say if that was just fluxcore and nothing else and no cleaning afterwards. damn walmart welder is crazy! THats still a pretty sweet bead you laid down though.
