hey guys i just bought a crx with an d16a6 in it and i need to know if i can put my transmission on it from my z6 ...i figured i could because its a d series but im not sure.....the a6 tranny looks funky and its cable so i dont know, but i have to use a hydrolic in my 93 si

 

my bad its not even an a6 its a it say d16a1...its dohc...and i need to know b4 i tear this thing off and try to make it fit....thanks in advance dudes....by the way i have been searching the forums for like 2 hours now looking for something that will say it...and i cant find ----

 

will someone please help me asap......im having so many problems i dont think i can even put this motor in my car...ill give the rest of the crx to whoever comes to my house to help me make this motor fit in my car

 

sounds like you have an 84-87 crx which the A1 will drop in. other d-series will not bolt in. (besides the original d13/d15a ones) you will have to make your own mounts.

 

I think you are out of luck with the tranny bolting to the a1 block...I think but why not just drop both motors and see if it works? aren't you pulling both anyways?...I'll take the crx off your hands if its in ok condition rust wise You are going to have to make mounts for the engine to go into the eg

 

where do you live come look at it......
