Default Check valve and afc??

Could one run check valves and use an afc to richen the a/f or would the ecu see this as boost and shut down?

the afc lies to your ecu in a given amount ( you set it). a check valve bleeds off map sensor pressure in turn lovering the map sensor voltage and making the ecu think there is less air going through the map sensor than there is.one is electronic and can be set (afc) and the other is mechanical and has no settings(check valve) you can't use both accurately

Why would you want to run both? That wouldn't be good for anything. Your timing would be off the charts and detonation would be all over the place.

Well I now that I think abou tit The check valve will stop the map sensor at zero vacume and richening it with the afc will just make the ecu think it is seeing boost so I know It will not work.
