Default no blinkers

i got a car a few weeks ago and it had been used as a track car for quite some time. i'm trying to make it street legal or at leats just legal enough not to get pulled over everytime i drive around the block. i can't get the blinkers to work. all the lights work even the parkign lights, but i can't get the blinkers to work. i replaced all related fuses and the flasher relay but still nothing. the car doesn't have a hazard button and i was thinking that might be the problem. maybe somehow all the wires for the blinkers and hazards come together there and if it isn't connected it wont flash the blinkers? any help would be appriciated. thanks for reading
