Default noob wastegate missunderstanding

i haver a problem with my wastegate

there is an out let and an inlet!!

the inlet is connected to the manifold so the gasses can pass through

what do you put on the outlet side? or can u leave it open?

i've seen pictures where there is a pipe leaving the wastegate but i can never see where it ends up?

help me please

The inlet is where its fed exhaust pressure. The outlet you can vent to the atmosphere or you can reroute it back into the exhaust. Most people just run a tube to direct it down under the car so the exhaust doesn't fill the driver cabin.

If you look at Jeff Evans site boosted hybrid you can see some dyno graphs with numbers proving 30hp gains from venting the wastegate outside of the engine bay...just route it under the motor and back to about where you DP ends or run it back into the exhaust around there

is there any gain (power) of routing it back into the exhaust or not?

I don't believe you will gain or loos power as long as the dump goes backj into the exhaust far enough back to not disrupt the turbos exhaust flow...you will just have a quieter and cleaner setup with it dumoing back into the exhaust

another thing;

there are two ports in the wg for the boost lines, these go to the boost adjuster/controller, the other line that comes to this controller comes from before the throttle body according to my knowledge.

does this line just come from the charge pipes or does it come out of the Blow off valve as there is another same sized port on the top of my BOV?

such a noob!!!

connect the side port to the boost controller, the othed end of the boost controller goes AFTER the thottle body on the intake manifold.
leave the top port on the wastegate open.

Both the BOV and wastegate need a vac soure it dosen't need to be before the Throttle body you can just tap off the intake mani by putting a T fitting in a line, its been suggested to use a larger port ie the FPR or PCV vac line, use the port on the sied of the external gate if you are using one the tope one is for a boost controller
