I need a password finding program

I used to have a program that did this, but can't seem to find one now. Basically if there is a saved password somewhere on the screen and it is just a bunch of asterisks, you held your mouse over the asterisks and this program would tell you the password. I know it exists but just can't find one. Anybody?

Those programs don't work past win9x. What application is the password stored in? There might be other ways to get it

It will be a HEX encoded string. It's easier for me to just decode it for you than try to explain how to do it
