From what I have read you need your wideband o2 sensor a decent distance from the turbo, Although there is a spot for the o2 sensor right on the hf manifold. So is it ok to put your wideband in there or should it be after the turbo? You would think the reading would be more acurate in the mani but will the high temps wreck the sensor? If you are using an hf mani could you tell me what you did and how it works, thank you.

Says in most WBo2 manuals not to do that!!!

You don't need a Narrowband. Open Loop all the time!!!!! Just plug it, You'll probably through o2 sensor codes with it there!

 

my old coupe ran the narrowband in the hf location, it never threw codes.

 

if you are tuned you dont need a narrowband, and the tuner probably disabled the o2 sensor anyways thats why you didnt throw a code. i have seen a few tuners actually use a narrowband and spend a little longer setting the target lambda and all, but its usually just disabled for boost.
