Does the oil return line has to be the shortest possible or it doesn't really bother? I contemplating the idea of mounting the turbo in a way that would make it a lil farther from the oil pan as it normally would be... Wondering if that is gonna be a problem...

shouldnt be a problem with the legnth of it just make sure you have plenty of fall on it

 

As long as you have a good downward slope, it doesn't matter if its 2 inches or 2 feet.
