duramax turbo for GSR??

duramax turbo for GSR??
looking at a turbo off a 2005 Gm truck with duramax 6.6L LLY engine. idk what any of the specs are so any quick info would be great, im looking to put together a kit for my gsr and want to make sure its ok for my STOCK GSR

if it's a Diesel turbo then it may work for your gsr, if it is for a gasaline 6.6 then it is probably WAY bigger than you want to go. it'll make great power on a stock (boost limited) gsr but won't spool probably till sometime next week... if it's for a diesel then it'd be alot better on spool-up

Is it also because you're at the bar that you need to buy used diesel turbos? Booze is expensive...
If I were to count all the money that I've spent on alcohol (painful to add up), I might just be driving a twin-turbo 350 Z

funny thing is, i took a cooler w/ beer in my car and stopped by mcdonalds on the way there for a large water, poured out the water, inserted beer, walked into bar no questions asked.....haha, cheap drunk.
