i need some helpful hands to put my motor together once its back from the machine shop.. im hopeing to get it all done by next weekend or on the weekend.. if anyone in nebraska has some experience and wants to help, i'll bribe you with free pizza and beer lol

here's the progress so far

yesterday when i had 1/3 of the tools required





today after spending close to $400 on tools still minus a cherry picker, and now minus one nut and plus a serious back ache

 

dude, you can take apart a whole car with a 200 dollar mechanics set from sears...

 

thats part of what i got, but i also needed a tourqe wrench, a bolt out set, and something else which i forgot what it was

i wasnt gonna skimp on the tourqe wrench so that was $75 plus tax, the bolt out was $40 plus tax, the tool set was 200+ plus tax.. it adds up

 

Ah, yeah. buying the little ---- adds up fast.

 

Today I had to buy a new inner tierod removal tool to finish a job at work, it cost me 113 from snap on
It sucked, i just payed my tool bill down to under 600 bucks and now im over 700 again, fucken snap on

 

kinda like my tab at sears, lol

i was litteraly spending 20 minutes looking for tools around my garage with what i had before i bought my set... so it was a nesissity (fucked that word over)

 

well unlike our cars atleast our tools are an investment

 

lol thats true! any car i have is a money pit, at least now i have the tools i need to do 2/3 of the ---- i'll ever run in to

 

Ive got a $30 matco egay special tool bag and its got all of the tools I need to do just about anything.

-10, 12, 14, 17mm socket. 3/8" drive
-10, 12, 14mm wrenches
flat tip and philips screwdriver
small flat tip screw driver
needle nose and adjustable pliers
sharpie marker
zip ties
electrical tape

and thats about it.

ohh yeah, and good luck on the rebuild. if i were in nebraska i would be over.
