F22B2 w/T3/T4 T04E????
Ok so i been reading this site, and couple other places, about what size turbo would be nice on a F22B2 in my Accord. So far it looks like a T3/T4 T04E with .57trim and .50a/r. I was hoping to get the best of both worlds quick spool and topend power. Also putting down somewhere around 220hp...Now besides using a 14b, or T25 with some fassst spool or or something like a T66 lol, would the first turbo i mentioned work out pretty good? Any you kids done this, i know bigdaddyvtec used something like this and made 260whp. im up for suggestion, put in yo .02 cents
Also as with most of us, not being able to afford an 800$ turbo is one of my probs, and im sure as hell not goin with a ssautocrome one, so whered you guys go?

I'd say use the t3/t04E with the .57 trim compressor...
I'm not sure where you are getting the .50 a/r...Most T3 turbine housings are .48 or .63 and you can narrrow it down from there by using stage 1,2 or 3 turbine wheels.
I would suggest using a .63 or .63 stage 2 for your application. The .63 will spool a little faster and should easly pull all the way to redline. The stage 2 wheel will spool a little later but will hit very hard all at once, with bigger top end potential power.
BTW if you find a turbo that says .48 a/r with a stage 3 wheel, it's almost the same as the .63. Sometimes you can get them cheaper that way.
If you find a turbo with a slightly smaller compressor it will easly make the 260 whp you are looking for, but you will be limiting yourself if you want to go for more later on. (Just get the .57 trim)
Here's a good one that I found a Ebay...

Down2turbo sells some good stuff at reasonable prices...

Thanks man, now so i that i understand what your saying, i should probably go with a .57 trim and .63a/r? correct?
Yes that would work well for you...
oh yeah, I just got what you are talking about with the .50 A/R thing. You are talking about the aspect ratio and the compressor side. Most of the T3 T04 hybrids have a .50 A/R compressor side. Keep in mind that there is an A/R for the Compressor (cold side) and an A/R for the Turbine (Hot side). The turbine wheel & A/R will affect your spool time more than anything else. The compressor can affect it some too..espessially when you start gettting really big turbos, but not nearly as much....anyway...blah blah blah.
