Has anybody had (or had a lack of) luck with the simple orifice-type non-adjustable oil pressure regulator?

I'm going to be doing another boost project soon and just wanted to see if the non-adjustable was a viable option. Cheaper and neater that way.

 

I don't see a problem with it?
I have a screw in my -4an lines and I cut a slit in the head with a dremel. ~1/16th.
