Default AT29C040A chips...

quick question, i stumbled upon a small lot of these from a bunch of old cards i have here at work... would these work in a p28 the same way a 27C256 would? what are the differences? anyone using them?

Well that is a Honda ECU. So it looks like something is possible, maybe.

I would just try it out. I assume the willem burner can burn em, they are pretty universal.

The SST's are pretty cheap so I have had no reason to go looking for stuff, but if you get em free why not.

Well he would need to wire it up just like that...adapter boards can be made, they are just a little more costly than most people like to pay.
