Default wastegate question

what would happen there was no line from the wastegate to the compressor?

you will blown your engine cyz wg never will open.. why? becuase there are not boost to spring of wg..

you will your engine because the wastegate never will open. Why? because there are not boost for to move the spring of the wastegate.. right?

Walter, the WG needs to sense the pressure to have it operate and open at the desired PSI. Without a vaccum source the WG doesn't read anything and will never open. You need a vaccum source to the WG from somewhere that way when you build boost it WILL open at the desired PSI.

i dont know to explain good in english.. . someone can give me class of english hahah..

but here i have a pic about it. (though it's in spanish ).





i did study this topic about turbos ago a long time so far ..i love the turbos haha , it's a puty that my enligsh is bad because there are a lot info about some stuff (about engine, camshaft,etc) in english.. but little by little i learn english more..
