ok so I got a chance to get a turbo cheap 50$ it is in good condition no shaft play at all. I was just wondering if anybody knew anything about this turbo i can't really find much about this one like a compressor map or anything. it is a borg warner gn-5 or gm-5 can't really read it that well was in a dark barn. I belive it was gm-5 if so any help would be cool. If I get it I will be running it on my b18b @15psi. thanks guys

 

No clue. Netsearch turns up nothing by way of compressor maps.

Figure out what the GM5 comes stock on, I might be able to help you.

 

didnt ghettoturbo put one on a b16? i think there off of diesel trucks

 

I heard it cam off a 99 gm 6.6 turbo desiel. at least thats what the guy who is selling it says it came off.

 

I thought that was the GM-8. Might be an earlier model.
