is there such thing as a home made oil line....or is that just a BAD idea...?

 

i was thinking more along the lines of home depot fittings and hi-temp silicome hose....

 

I doubt HD sells anything that will sustain the oil temps w/o degrading. Don't want to plug up your oil feed hole with parts of your hose. McMaster Carr and Grainger both sell what you need for less than the typical turbo shop. But you'll have to spend the time to find it in their catalog. I did mine for $40 from 'em.
