when i connect my ecu to the hondalog and then plug the usb cord into the laptop, the fuel pump doesnt prime and the car wont start.

if i unplug the usb from the laptop and cycle the ignition, the car starts fine. then i can plug the usb cord back in and it works.

im real new tunning and not sure if thats normal or if im doing something wrong. its not that big of a deal, but im a lazy bastard.

If it works fine after the car is started then just wait to plug it in until you start the car... ----, if it hurts to bend your arm then leave it alone.

 

is ur laptop plugged into the cigarette lighter. im guessing too much power kinda like if youve ever used a usb hub on your pc and it had a power adapter, your computer wont turn on if its plugged in. try running it just on the battery if still occurs then do wut that guy said lazy ----
