Default bov help!!

my bov moves with hardly no resistance at an idle is that right or is it just me bein paranoid??

first of what kind of bov do you have? DSM, HKS, knockoff, ext. If its a dsm give it a smush in a bench vise. this will tighten up the spring and make your bov alot stronger and capable to high boost.

At idle your car is likely running about 17-21inhg, which is enough to keep a lot a bov's open a little and sucking in air. So if vacume at idle is trying to open your bov than in boost the pressure is trying to keep your bov closed. If you have an adjustable bov than turn it down a little. If its a dsm crush it. If its neither than deal with it

no big deal as long as it holds boost
