Was wondering if anyone knows which D series engine would be best for boost. I currently have a d15b2 and its a piece of ----. Im also on a budget so thats why im not goin with a B-series. All posts would be a great help!!!

I can't say for a fact but I like the d16a6, I heard it can be made to out flow a z6 but i don't know from experience, i liked my boosted a6, but I swapped to an LS and I can tell you already even with out the turbo on yet I like the boosted LS better than any d series

Honestly just from my experience I'd say save the money swap to B and then boost that, you are gonna spend around the same for a swap or a decent turbo set up

 

D-series 10 pound 'll turn ya out!

 

LS 14 pound'll turn out the D-series

Forging the motors for $700 is ------- grat though, new motors for $200

A6 is my pick, just because its direct and easy and I build them anyways
