its not the same car in the pic, but i found a delorean not far from me that im gonna try to get next week, what do you guys think of a HMT kit on a delorean

i looked up the motor specs and it says it has 8.8:1 compression on a light alloy V-6 block, so im assumeing aluminum? how much boost do you guys think would be safe? i got a buddy who can get me custom pistons and rods for almost anything for about $700 so i can build it if need be but wanna stay away from that for a while since its expensive as the damn 03 SVT i was looking at

and how would you suggest to route intercooler pipes with the motor bein in the rear?

 

Screw the turbo, go with a FLUX CAPACITOR!!!

 

As cool as the Delorean is, its the worst mechanically designed car in history. You'll have a hard enough time keeping it running even without a turbo

 

how so? im researching it tonight but if you can save me the time of doing so then by all means lay it out for me before i buy

had some friends back in oregon that had one and it was there DD and didnt seem to have any problems with it

... i've been reading tons of reviews and find very little wrong with it, some problems with the auto trannys, speedo gear going out, and thats pretty much it, seems like it has the same ammount of problems any 20+ year old car would

 

I think you should first invest your free time into some spelling classes. Learn to speak Engrish.
