Default Input

Hey was looking for some input. I own a 91 integra gs with a b20 head(guy before me blew the timing belt). Anyways my motor is makin some stranger whinning sound from the belts have no idea what it is. Was wondering if i should try to find out what that damn noise is and just boost my motor.. or if i should just buy this b16 motor and boost that bitch and put it in my ride? or if i should just say ---- it and but that 2nd gen motor clip for my 91 mr2??

A belt is probably just loose. Tighten those up, drive the bitch. Boost that and then just do a 5sfte on your mr2.

if timing belts are tooo tight they tend to whirr. I remember working on an accord once, an f22 from a 94 i think, it had the wierdest whine that sounded like it was coming from the belts or at least in the front of the engine... we never did find out what it was, i think its probably still running (or they would have wanted us to put another engine in it)

Well it probably doesnt help that my block mount bolt snap so i have 1 bolt on that side holding the motor. Its like a mario bro whirlly sound and after a certain rpm it stops. Its like a trickle sound mixed in the whirly sound after the rpm drop too.
