96 civic dx
guys I've had this car for bout 3yrs now just started working on it today, I brought an EX cluster for it for 60. bucks from the junkyard. I always thought the car idle low, now I know it does ever since I place the new cluster. I'm no stranger to D.I.Y. on Honda's but I can't seem to find the idle screw on this model... so please look out thanx, also for the past year my speed gauge hasn't worked I picked up a new sensor from a real good tuner shop, and it still doesn't work I called'em he said to check the teeth on the plug, and to make sure that I have a signal, if I don't have a signal how do I fix that
? once again thanx to anyone who helps

You see the links to manuals at the top of this forum?
VSS is simple. 90% of the time you just need to plug and unplug the sensor due to bad connection. Are the teeth stripped off the VSS sensor? Its a three wire plug - power, ground, sensor return - can you figure out if you have the first two?
Post up what you figure out, and I'll help, but you're gonna have to get the service literature and make an attempt.
