Default Oil Line Question

Did some research, some have mentioned that do not use PTFE or silicon on the hose connections to the turbo.... Is that true? If so why is that? As I only manage to discover not to use it but interested in finding out why? My only guess is that some of the tapes may get into the turbo and cause damage?

my turbo is fine with and w/o it. The first time i didnt use telfon tape and just this thread-lock stuff. Second time i added an oil pressure gauge in front of the turbo and used telfon tape. No problems, just make sure that the tape isnt over the ends, u dont want that stuff in ur oil flowin around in ur block and ----.

What would be the best way to get it sealed? You can say I am just being paranoid with with my luck, it probably would happen to me when I boost the car. I just figured out that the oil supply or return using a 1/8 NPT or 1/8 BSPT.... trying the 1/8 NPT byt hand tightening but getting tight halfway and it should able to get further.
