OK i dont want to breath freon and die but i called around and no shop is willing to help me drain my AC the right way, so i have to vent it into the atmosphere(lol the shops told me to do this). i should just be able to push the release valve at the top of the condenser with a nail by closing the hood on it. or is there a better way? thanks for your help guys.

 

just unbolt on of the high side lines......release valve.....takes too long

 

Has to be sucked out with a straw, and inhaled.

 

1. loosen bolt
2. pull line out
3. run

 

Don't have anything burning near it. Freon by itself is an asphyxiant (you can suffocate if you inhale enough) which is bad enough, but when burned it turns into some really bad ----.

 

it will also look like a dry ice cloud, if it isn't windy out.

 

or you can have a jackass friend cut your a/c line and run away leaving it to spray oil and freon all over you.

 

cut a line with a bolt cutter and run

 

i just taped a nail in it to hold the release thing and went inside and got on hmt that whent back out later
