I have a b18a1 swapped into my 89 dx hatch running a pr4 ecu. I completely rebuilt the harness for this motor so everything would sit where it needs to be. I've never had a problem with the harness setup before on my old z6 motor, but for some reason i have a code 14 that i can't get rid of for the life of me...EACV. Originally the stock eacv that was on the motor was shot (somehow rusted solid) so i swapped one out that i knew worked (and also tested it before it went on) but still no luck. I reset the ecu, start the car, wait about 30 seconds and wham...code 14 again. I've checked out the testing procedure from the Honda service manuals...everything seems to check out. No shorts in the wires, 12v to the one side of the eacv, and everything is wired in properly. This thing is driving me up a wall...anyone have any ideas? I need to get the ecu chipped within the next 2 or 3 weeks, but i can't until this code is gone.
