Default chipped ECU

i just bought a H23 prelude and it is already has a chipped ECU (it is by Carboy, anyone heard of them? and it is dated in 99). Will that work with tuning a turbo?

well it is a non vtec motor does that help??

No.

Go read the ECU number off of it.

Is the chip removable? That can tell you a lot.

it is a P14 ecu 5 speed. yes it is removable

or is it better just to get a more updated chip and if so what would be recommended? I mean there are soooooo many options. chrome, uberdate, hondata.....etc etc. So after it is chiped how do I actually personally tune it myself with a laptop?

go do some research on pgmfi.com read their wiki, it will answer all of your basic questions.

Nope, try again...there really isnt any support for the P13/P14 ECUs out there...
