Default mani & DP are done, one step closer ***MORE pics***

well, i finished this off just before my neighbour's bmw burned up. i'll post more pics later when i get the dp finished up and installed. i just used a high temp paint to make it look nice. i'll also probably be making up some brackets to bolt onto the turbo for support, but i think the gussets will help a bit i hope. it only weighs 10.5 lbs.

Loving the bracing Aaron. You have out done yourself. Very nice work. Throw that thing up for sale and get some big coin. Who needs a running car?

Didn't you use 16 gauge mild steel? I think I'm going to make my manifolds out of that, hopefully it holds up for you.

looks good.

thanks guys. yes, it is all 16g ms, including the gussets. i'll be sure to show any damage that should occur this summer. i'm hoping it will stand up, i plan to make another one out of ss and possilby a couple to sell if this one lasts.

I don't think your going to have a problem. It became a sad trend that manifolds must be made from 8 gauge and anything in mild steel is going to break apart in 3 months. Make sure the turbo is nicely braced and you'll be fine
