has anyone used main and rod bearings from NAPA? if so did they hold up or were they pure ----?

 

I don't know if you can get the proper sizes from napa. Usually every main bearing is a different size from journal to journal, and pretty much the same for the rods. Unless you have everything cut down to a standard size and compromise the nitride coating on the crank, I'd say you're better off with Honda OEM's. They're really not that expensive.

 

u can get sizes from napa! i'm just trying to throw a beater motor together for my cx while i build my other motor.

 

if your clearances are right your good to go
