if your SRS light is not you need to jump the SRS system not the CEL system. Get a helms.

The SRS has nothing to do with the engine management. Like smooth said get a helms, there is another jumper to reset or check codes for the SRS.

If your SRS light is activated, go to your kickpanel fuse panel and in upper right hand corner there is a plug with yellow wire loom. It has 2 female connectivity points on it, but the slot it is in has no connectors. This is your SRS code reset plug. Take a single wire or a paper clip or other jumper wire and connect the two points, then turn on the acc power and disconnect the jumper on one side. the light will turn off, then come back on, immediately put the jumper back in on both sides, and wait for about 5-7 seconds. The light should flash twice, then turn off...Now your SRS codes have been reset and you will have no more problems with that light.
