Would this intercooler fit an eg civic easily? Im not sure if its too big in the hight department?

Yes it will fit, but you will have to remove or modify the bumper brace, because the core is to tall..and you can tuck your IC piping away nice and ---- , this is my bro's hatch with a similar IC

That's what I've read, correct me if I'm wrong.

 

I would say take the measurements and do a little mock up yourself. What may be easy to some could be life ending for others.

yes it will fit like a champ, cut the bottem of the bumper support and mount it to the top.
