hey guys whats up. my friend just sold a mint t25 garrett turbo for 70 bucks, it's a pretty nice turbo and everything but my question is how well will this turbo be on my motor? the size of the turbo is 48/49.my setup so far is

ssautoshit mani
dsm 450's
ssauto 50mm bov
jc 6inch intercooler
stealthmode oil kit

and it's a stock block.so what do you guys think?

 

Been there done that.Spools instantly and is fun for daily driving around town.It starts to run out of boost around 6500ish rpm though so you will want to go bigger after a little while.Great starter turbo and they are dime a dozen and cheap so if it calfs on ya you can get another cheap.Slap it on and take lots of pictures.Also a great burnout turbo.

 

i dont think the t25 will bolt to the t3 ss autoshit manifold though

 

No you will need a adapter or cut the T3 flange off and weld on a T25 DSM style.

 

the ssauto mani already fits to the turbo. i got the the one that the t25 goes on, look at their website it says it on there.

 

Yeah, it will bolt to it, but will it stay that way?

Ha ha for sure.Are you sure the manifold is flanged for the right T25?There is the Garrett style,DSM style etc.
