got on it a little bit in 2nd gear, shifted at maybe 5500 rpm into 3rd and BANG, all hell broke loose.

notice the spider gear that came right outa the diff!!!





and this is one of the bolts that hold the two halves of the case together. it broke pretty damned hard.

Hahahahaa...this is the second Brett shows us his spider gears tranny I have seen...the first was in person.

um, 6 psi untuned with a xeno basemap, i wasnt beating the car at all, it had been on the road less than 24 hours and i had only put 200 miles on the car since i owned it, and the 1st 100 miles werent even boosted!!

im going to go pick up a b16 tranny right now that has no reverse. hopefully i can use the parts from my blown tranny to make reverse work. the only thing thats bad in my tranny is the diff and the case, which exploded pretty hard core

 

if u have a few extra buk's get a lsd so this wont happen again, honda dif pins r shitty.
