what is the size of some or your external-wastegate's that your running (38mm, 40mm....?) and how's it working out for you Boost/Horsepower numbers your making? In the works of buying an external and was wondering if XXmm wastegate'd be a little small or just right...

 

stock audi gate is working fine for me. Running 17-20psi i get no spikes, probably making around 260-275hp. BTW, its only a 30mm.

 

just for reference:

Low psi/big turbo = large wastegate
high psi/big turbo = small wastegate
low psi/small turbo =small wastegate
high psi/small turbo= small wastegate

i have a knockoff hks 60mm on my car i have a t3/t04e 60 trim, and i think its overkill but i have never had a boost spike or creepy or anything, i have to say it works PERFECT.
