Default pre-cautions to take while driving to tuning appointment?

Ok so i have to drive 50 miles up to chris shop on saturday morning, What precautions should i take while driving. I think i'm going to disconnect the charge pip so i don't boost at all and keep it under 3500 rpms. Anything else i should do? Currenlty my Datalogger says i'm running at 11.5 pretty much across the whole map. It's rich as hell with a nice think gas cloud coming out of the exhaust. Should i try and lean it alittle, or just leave it and take it slow up there?

Even if it's not in boost? You really think it will hurt the motor driving it NA up there? I don't really see that happening at least i hape not.

i drove my car running like 11:1 afr's around for a bit before i tuned the base map, only thing that happened with mine was the plugs would foul out from running that rich at idle, but it would take like 100+ miles of driving before that happened, im not saying its good for it, but its not gonna blow the motor up, just drive it easy, and take along something to pull the plugs and a wire brush/ brake clean just in case they foul out on you on the drive, you'll know cause the car wont want to run, but then you just clean the plugs up, and your down the road again, not very good for the oxygen sensor either, but ---- it what else you gonna do? you'll be fine!

yeah i'm bringing extra plugs with me. I'm running a stock p30 basemap adjusted to my 550's. I do have an internal gate. So my best bet would be to lossen up the adjust screw to it's stuck open so boost doesn't build. My motor is completely built from top to bottom with forged items. I was gonna get it towed, but AAA doens't tow on the NJ parkway because it's contraced out thought the state to only certain towers, Ad i also promised chris i would be there no later then 8am and god knows that tow trucks aren't exactly timely.

I'd just unhook the wastegate (if internal) and baby it up there...but thats just me. If it's external just stay out of boost.

Really? Maybe they were just trying to hustle me, When i throw the #4 rod out of my old block i called and they said it could one be 1 of three places, but this was almost 2 years ago. Maybe AAA is now part of the scam the state has going on.
