Default eclipse downpipe in civic

anyone rigged a 1g eclipse downpipe into a 96+ civic and just cut and weld as nessesary? if so any pics of how it turned out? just wondering cause im cheap and i might just go hack one off at the junkyard by me with the o2 housing flange still on it and rig and weld it to my stock 96 civic ex ehuast.. if it is not to hard.

oh ya it is for a 14b with stock o2 housing with costom manifold like a hf but sits little lower

Not really worth it IMO. Just make one, they don't take much work or parts.

If it takes any fab work to make the DSM one work, then it would be just as easy to make a new one. 2 90o bends and you have a DP.

Welding used exhaust piping is also frustrating, I won't do it anymore. With the price of mandrels theres no reason not to use them. Besides, the stock DP is only like 2" ID.
