ok so i went to napa and the injecotr seal kit was $9 somthin for 1 kit, and u need 4, $40 what the ----? so ii go to honda and get just the lower seals for $6 a seal, realize im retarded and there not the taller green kind so they probly wont work right?

lost my reciept so they will probly only let me exchange, the bottom seals i need are for a integra im guessing? not sure if the honda dealer will have acura parts too (i know there both honda) so is there other ones that will work? maybe 99 civic si or crv ones? any b-series?

 

I just got my lower seals from Honda yesterday, Im installing them on my DSM's. Mine were black but I think the green seals you were referring to may be the NAPA brand seals. So, I could be wrong but I believe they should work. Ive read that some installers bore them and some cram them in. Im goint to bore them.

 

if you look at the write up in the projects section, the black ones are not as tall and probly wont fit as nice..

 

 

When you say lower seal, you mean you have 2 orings in each injector port right.? Cause I took out mine and had a upper and lower (on a prelude f22a1) o ring. Im not sure to grind down the top and bottom or just the top.

 

I see now what you mean, the green seals are taller, but I plan on using the black Honda seals. If they leak Ill know what the problem is. Nonetheless I highly doubt they will leak.
