Default Time to follow the trend (Swedishbrick)

Cousing informed me of some poor sap selling a 1991 940 turbo. Ends up 2 hours later and 150 dollars and i drive (slowly) this bitch home : ). Has a dead cylinder (#2), oil leaks all over the place, and some valvetrain noise(not so bad).
Some pics

Sweet ------- grocery getter.

Everytime I see one of those, I think of the Volvo from one of Slo13's (?) video. The one where the brick drifts around the corner of the building

Trying to locate a compression tester(that works) and see where to go from there. I was hoping of doing plugs andvalve clearance tommorow but it turns out that these cars use shims instead of a adjusting screw on the valves : (. I will end up just getting it to start and stay on and just pass it on to some poor pancho who needs a ride, turning around a profit (500 or so).

If i can get this car to run reliably (find why #2 is dead) i plan on keeping it, dumping the current crx and saving up. Either in the end buying a mint *** crx(under 80k) or some new car. Anyone have any tips on getting valves unstuck?
