ok so i have the sohc vtec and it has a td04h turbo on it and its spools good and hard at 8psi and it spools strong for a 3500 rpm range and then it just feels like a civic again untill i shift any ideas on what will make the top end come back to life other than the dohc?

maybe eventually , but i dont wanna blow the sohc motor up it only has 40k on her

Just messin with you i have a d16y8 in a 2000 civic ex switch to a T3 anyone of the Saab or Volvos turbos should do. an get rid of that greddy crap if you want nice top end turbo lag equals traction control.

 

my little sohc with the t3/t4 on it had nice top end power at 10psi

 

those turbos are pretty shitty i hear, go wtih a t3 and you'll feel a difference

 

A larger turbo, eg T3 with A/R .48/.42 or .48/.60

 

hey i got the whole greddy kit complete everthing brand new for 535 shipped so i made out on the deal even if the turbo does suck now i have a little cash left over the put the t3/t4 in there and still be running a budget boost project
