I made a homemade adapter plate and put a 14b on my car and there was no boost. I checked it all and said f it and now trying a 16g and still no boost? I can hear a leak when i put it in gear and put a load to the motor but sounds like from underneath intake manifold? Any suggestions?

 

Yeah sounds that easy but cant find it and there are no couplings underneath the intake manifold.

 

I put a new i/m and was thinking maybe the pvc valve came loose underneath what do you think?

maybe if you put a bigger turbo than a 16 g itll work

 

ya t88 should boost it fine ...







































lol ..no boost at all .. maybe leaking badly from bov ... the only time we've had that happen is blowing the charge pipe off the turbo

 

build yourself one of those cheap *** boost leak testers, slap it on the turbo inlet, fill it with air and listen for the hiss....

 

great idea, or we can use our psycic powers to find the leak over the internets. I'm now typing your IP address into my crystal ball. Serisouly dude, it's a leak. Put the car in 2nd, ebrake up. Have a friend put a load on the motor and build ~1psi of boost and have him listen for a leak. Don't run over him/her.

 

use a spray bottle full of soapy water. spray it on all the joints. when you have a leak youll see bubbles oooOoOoOoOoOOOoooOOOOoooOOOoooOOOooOO
