alright guys i just picked up a 1990 jaguar xj6 vanden plas majestic for dirt cheap. it has a massive 4.0 inline six and a 5 speed auto trans. this thing actually rips pretty good and i wanted to know if any HMTers have boosted anything jaguar related. i cant find ----. i've seen a few that were spraying, one guy was actually sprayin a 125shot on a completely stock motor. i was thinking of using my holset hx40 on this badboy....what does everyone think?

 

Throw some ------- boost at that **** and see what happens.

I was in barnes an noble the other day saw a book on high performance fuel injection. Where they take a look at a couple of different stand alone ecu's I saw a jaguar in the project cars section but i think it was the V-12 one anyway just like Boost said boost that biotch an see what happens.

 

i had an 85 that i was putting a v12 in but it was rear ended and totaled. The 4.0 i know nothing about. thats after ford took over.

if i remember right, a toyota transmission will bolt on giving you a manual option. i think it was a t-5 or something

 

well i dont wanna go the v8 route nor the 5 speed. i love the way it is but i love boost!!! i suck ***** at welding so if anyone would like i can send them my stock exhaust mani and pay you to hook me up with a top mount style one. as cheap as possible would be great haha. i'll snap pics tomorow. its actually really clean!
