Default ...new to the site, but i've been doin some research...

...hey every1 at HMT...I have a 91 crx si with a b16a in it...basically I'm about to turbo it...I have the money to purchase some SRP pistons and some eagle rods...the pistons are for 9.9:1 compression...I'm aiming for about 250 whp with a Garrett T3 Turbo with a .63 a/r...the company told me this will hit full boost around 3500 and hold till redline...my question is should I drop my compression to 9.9:1 and push around 12 psi, or should I just keep my stock internals and compression? If I do keep my stock compression, approx at how much psi do you think I could reach that? I have 450cc injectors, VAFC2, walbro fuel pump (255 lph), FMIC, but I can't get the manifold till I decide which turbo to go with...is this really a good turbo for my motor? if it holds 3500 to redline, that sounds fine, right? I'll be turning the boost as far down as possible for daily driving, but I'm aiming for 250 whp or low 13's/high 12's with a full interior...any feedback would be greatly appreciated..thank you

With your fancy *** AFC your stock internals will be dog ---- in about........2 weeks. I would consider a different fuel management system.

9.9:1 is quite a bit of compression for boost. I would go to withlow-mid 9:1 compression. 9.9:1 compression+AFC+250whp=Melted *** pistons. :1 Ask Stevemode.....

How about I dig up the pictures of your old setup with that fancy AFC with that fancy bracket so you could do "on the fly" tuning. :1

You mean this one?

The boost controller was on the fancy bracket, I molested the cupholder for the AFC. The car is still running to this day on the hack (with some nasty ignition breakup becuase of new owner )

How about I dig up the picture of you ------ing it on your bed. :P
