so i had 2 10's with a 450w amp. switched to an 800w amp and the subs didnt work. went back to the 450w and they still didnt work. checked all the wires and connections and fuses 3 times and nothing. bought new subs, nada. bought a new radio, nope. wtf? so heres a bonus:

Is something grounding out? Is you gain set high? I would really suggest www.caraudioforum.com they know a lot.

 

is the amp turning on? ---- up the rca's?

 

i bought new rca's and still nothing. the amp has power and turns on when the radio turns on so the remote is working. i'm ------- baffled its a 4ch so i'll try 3 and 4 tomorrow. and bridging it.

 

did you check the gains? new amp sometime have them turned down all the way. it seems you replaced everything i would check the grounds. they can connected enough to turn on but the amp will be in a safe-mode

yea i'd go with check your levels, i remember when i first put in a new 950w for my 2 MTX's i turned it on and was like WTF.. flipped some switch that basically turned off output and i was beatin

i've set off a couple alarms with these bad boys

 

Some amps will still look like they turning on if the remote wire has power but the main fuse is blown.
