Default Helmet For Track...

So my buddy kept this helmet this guy was going to throw out and we decided to use it as our track helmet. 13s requires a helmet at our track and althoug I only ran 14.4, that was on a slipping clutch, 2.396 60' and missing 3rd gear. Got the new clutch and I even have a new .60 T-Bird compressor to add on to it to smack 13s for sure. Anyway, we stripped the gay graphics (orange, yellow, purple) then cleaned it really well. Chris laid down a healthy "It's A Buck" red metallic flake paint for the base and the trim. Eddie drew up the design and cut it out. I then placed the contact paper design on the helmet and Chris went at it with the free General All-Purpose Black. After it dried we peeled back the contact paper to reveal the red undercoat. Not bad for a lil time and couple dollars and some good freinds willing to lend a hand. Just have to figure out something for the inside to cover up the orange and purple cloth. Hope to be wearing this helmet alot this season.

If you spent as much time working on the car instead of the helmet youd hit 12's

Samson, I like it man. Looks good, and I'm sure you'll hit 13's no prob this year. At lease you actually go out there and race, compared to a lot of these e-racers that think they're hot ----.

Thanks.

I only did it because we thought it'd be cool and it was fun and cheap to do. The car is fine and only need a few things to be worked on soooooooo. And I only got to go to the track twice. I'm not a very good driver yet. What do you expect? I'm just trying to make $1 outta $.15 you know? Whatever.

Hey Josh, I'm up to some track days, heck I'll even run the Nissan just to see if I can dip into the 16's lmao :P
